| Job Description | The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office is hiring prosecutors! Starting salary for licensed attorneys with 0-4 years of experience is $124,452 annually, plus benefits, and increases depending on years of practice. The Salt Lake County DA’s Office offers a dynamic work experience consisting of varied felony prosecution, as well as other related work. Our office prosecutes all felony offenses occurring within Salt Lake County, a jurisdiction with a population of 1.2 million people, and also boasts a robust treatment court team staffing five drug courts, two mental health court, a veterans’ court, and diversion programs, as well as a large juvenile prosecution team. | Minimum Qualifications | Attorneys must be licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with the ability to waive into the Utah Bar and to practice pending admission under the current Utah State Bar rules while admission is pending. |
