Position Summary

The Pima County Attorney's Office (PCAO) is seeking attorneys interested in joining our team of outstanding public lawyers working daily to improve our community. Incumbents perform advanced-level legal work in criminal or civil matters, regularly preparing, prosecuting, and resolving the most complex cases demanding a higher degree of resourcefulness, skill, and knowledge. Work is performed with considerable latitude, independent judgment, and professional discretion.

This classification is appointed, unclassified, and exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD)
• Five (5) years of relevant prosecution, defense, or civil experience

We will consider applicants pending admission to the Arizona State Bar. All applicants must be admitted to the Arizona State Bar by the time of appointment.

Compensation

Salary: $95,846
