Program Summary:
Supports the development, implementation, and improvement of emergency planning activities for state, Tribal, county, and local juvenile justice residential facilities. Funding will help ensure that facilities:
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of youth and staff
• Keep families informed during emergencies
• Continue operations and reduce risk to the facility
• Prepare for natural, technological, manmade, and public health emergencies
Eligibility:
State governments, units of local government, federally recognized tribal governments, and other eligible applicants as defined in the NOFO.
