Program Summary:
Supports programs designed to prevent and reduce school violence by:
• Implementing training for school personnel and students
• Developing school threat assessment and intervention teams
• Introducing technologies such as anonymous reporting tools
• Applying other school safety strategies to assist in preventing violence
The goal is to equip K–12 students, teachers, and staff with tools to recognize, respond to, and prevent acts of violence.

State governments, units of local government, federally recognized tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations.
