Presented by Edward Chase, Chief Assistant DA at the DeKalb Judicial Circuit, the session will draw on real-world prosecutorial experience to address the unique developmental, emotional, and legal considerations involved in preparing children for the witness stand. The webinar is part of APA's ongoing national webinar series supporting prosecutors handling child victimization cases in custodial care, with a particular focus on equipping rural and resource-constrained offices with no-cost training. Attendees will leave with concrete tools to reduce additional harm to the child while strengthening case outcomes.
