The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA), in partnership with the Joyce Foundation, invites you to the 2025 National Prosecutorial Summit on Combating Machine Gun Conversion Devices (MCDs) on Friday, June 27, in Chicago, IL.

We are pleased to announce that this event will now feature live demonstrations of both MCDs and 3D printing of MCDs, along with presentations of innovative strategies to prevent 3D printing of MCDS; take down web domains selling MCDs; advance legislative initiatives to combat MCDs; pursue civil litigation to impede MCDs; collaborate across jurisdictional lines to combat MCDs; implement other model prosecutorial practices; and more.
Continuing Legal Education
This event presumptively qualifies for 7.00 MCLE Hours. APA is a Multiple Activity Provider for the State of California. All attendees will have the option to receive certificates of attendance for self-reporting purposes.
This event will feature a live demonstration of MCDs and presentations and panel discussions on MCD lethality; model law enforcement and prosecutorial practices; cross-jurisdictional collaborations; legislative initiatives; innovative strategies to prevent 3D printing of MCDs; civil litigation and more.

Sponsorship Opportunity for Travelling Attendees
The Joyce Foundation is funding scholarships to offset travel expenses to attend the Machine Gun Conversion Device Summit on June 27, 2025, in Chicago, IL.
Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying prosecutors, law enforcement and related disciplines to attend the conference. The award limits are $500 for recipients who fly and $300 for recipients who drive, reimbursed (with receipts) after the conference.
