The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, in partnership with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, will host the 14th National Animal Cruelty Prosecution Conference in Pittsburgh, PA on November 5-7, 2025.
The goal of this training is to provide prosecutors, law enforcement, and allied professionals with the requisite skills to strengthen links between the criminal justice system and the community by protecting our most vulnerable victims and to enhance prosecutors' ability to successfully identify and prosecute animal cruelty and animal fighting cases.
This conference is intended for prosecutors, law enforcement and animal control officers, veterinarians and related disciplines involved in the prosecution of animal cruelty crimes. Due to space restrictions, those not meeting this criteria will be contacted by APA and a full refund will be issued.

Sponsorship Opportunity for Travelling Attendees
The Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) is funding scholarships to offset travel expenses to attend the 14th National Animal Cruelty Prosecution Conference on November 5-7, 2025, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying prosecutors, law enforcement and animal control officers, veterinarians and related disciplines involved in the prosecution of animal cruelty crimes to attend the conference. The award limits are $500 for recipients who fly and $300 for recipients who drive, reimbursed (with receipts) after the conference.
