Ethical Communications Symposium
March 19–20, 2026 | Princeton University, Prospect House | Princeton, NJ

The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, with support from The Just Trust and hosted by Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs, will convene a Symposium on Ethical Communications in Criminal Cases.

Over a day and a half, justice system stakeholders, media leaders, advocates, and academics will explore:

• How criminal cases are communicated to the public
• The role of each stakeholder in ensuring communications are fair, accurate, and legally sound
• Modern media challenges and bipartisan principles emphasizing fairness, accountability, safety, and human dignity
• Promising practices and solutions to strengthen public trust in the justice system
