APA and DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston welcome you to Decatur, GA for the 2026 APA Winter Major County Prosecutors Council (MCPC) Meeting taking place January 29-30, 2026, at the DeKalb County District Attorney Office. 


During the meeting, we will discuss mass violence victim services, firearm prevention, cold cases and digital forensics. Agenda is forthcoming.

About MCPC:


APA's Major County Prosecutors Council (MCPC), made up of the elected prosecuting attorneys from the most populated jurisdictions in the United States, was created in 2013 to further meet the demands that prosecutors from large urban areas face in the administration of justice. The MCPC gathers in person bi-annually for a two-day summit to discuss the current issues they are grappling with and model policies and protocols to address these issues.
